![]() ![]() To open a list of keyboard shortcuts in Google Docs, press Ctrl + / (Windows, Chrome OS) or ⌘ + / (Mac). x₂ is called subscript, the keyboard shortcut to activate is Ctrl + = (Press and hold Ctrl and press the equal = sign, at the same time). (This is actually ctrl and shift and = keys) Subscript: Press ⌘ and = together.
